Times are tough for everyone. Even former Faith No More frontman, Chuck Mosley. He’s been so impecunious recently that he’s announced he Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food, which also happens to be the title of his latest solo effort. But, don’t let the title fool you: the album goes above and beyond the rather limited boundaries that that Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food implies. And frankly, that’s a good thing — especially considering the fact that the musical stylings of the aforementioned “rap” generally has me rolling my eyes and shouting “Learn how to play a chord, will ya!”

Today, she plays all over the world, and brings her favorite DJs and bands with her. After five years at the forefront of BBC Radio One’s specialist output with her show “The Mash Up,” Annie Mac has recently earned herself the much-coveted role of ‘officially starting the weekend’ every Friday evening – with Pete Tong stepping down from his Friday night sessions to make way for Annie Mac, whose keen ear for a banger, wicked mash-ups, and refreshing disregard for genre snobbery have solidified her as one of the most refreshing figures in electronic music.
